WAYNESBURG - Grace Riffle Kamerer, 9, of 525 Short St., Waynesburg, died at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 1980 at the Marcin Convalescent Home in Carmichaels following an extended illness.
Born Sept. 11, 1900 in Aleppo Township (near Aleppo), she was a daughter of the late Luther and Rachel Staggers Riffle.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel B. Kamerer, whom she married on Nov. 8, 1924.
She was a 1918 graduate of Aleppo High School, a 1921 graduate of California Normal School, and for several years taught at the Crossroads School near Lippencott. She also taught at the Turtle Creek Union High School.
She was a member of the Lady Rebecca Lodge No. 385.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, a granddaughter, and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Donald and Perry Riffle.
