He was born on Thursday, January 2, 1936, in Hammond, son of the late Charles E. O'Neill and the late Inez Eady O'Neill.

Surviving are wife, Ruth Robertson O'Neill, son & daughter-in-law, Stoney and Dayna Bennett O'Neill, daughter, Sandra Noto, daughter & son-in-law, Rita Kaye and Yancey Greer, grandchildren, Thomas Noto and wife Rebekah, Charity "Sissy" Wainwright and husband Scott, Meghan Noto, and Trey and Taray O'Neill, great-grandchildren, Austin, Christian, Petyon, Ty, Wyatt, Addie and Rhett, brothers, Harold, Tommy and Donnie O'Neill, sister, Inez Randall.

He is preceded in death by wife, Joyce Owens O'Neill, granddaughter, Marley Kaye Greer, brothers, Lucius, Charles, Owen and Christopher O'Neill, sisters, Florine "Flo" Baham, Ann Latino, Elise Pingno, Geneva Jagneaux and Peggy McMorris.

Friends will be received Monday, March 17, 2014 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond and will resume on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 until funeral service begins.

Interment will follow in the Gatlin Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
