Dennis Mack "Rock" Brothers age 78 of Arlington VA, died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Virginia Hospital Center. He was born October 2, 1935 in Pender County, son of the late Samuel and Leola Ramsey Brothers. He was also predeceased by fifteen brothers and sisters. He is survived by a son, Everton L. Brothers and wife Jane of Jupiter FL; three grandchildren Carmen, Brandon, and Dillon; a brother, Leonard Brothers and wife Marjorie of McLean, VA; a sister-n-law Dorothy Brothers of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Monday March 17, 2014 at Burgaw Cemetery. Reverend Elbert Bradshaw will officiate. Burial will follow. Published in the Wilmington Star-News on Mar. 14, 2014.
