Mrs. Anna Brodine, wife of A. J. Brodine, 1104 Ninth street, succumbed to pneumonia at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning at her home. She was born fifty-two years ago in Sweden, and at the age of three years came to this country with her parents, locating at Cherry Valley. In 1890 her marriage to Mr. Brodine occurred in Minnesota, and nine children and two grandchildren survive, besides the husband.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, Rev. E. A. Hallen officiating, and burial will be in the Scandinavian cemetery.
