STEWARTSTOWN Patricia A. Blevins, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her daughter's residence. She was the wife of the late Larry D. Blevins, to whom she was married 46 years.
Viewings will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Yocumtown Church of God, 160 Red Mill Rd., Etters.
A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Friday at the church with Pastor Stefanie DiFrancesco officiating. Interment will follow the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
She was born January 9, 1942, in Yoe a daughter of the late Wilford K. Sr., and Esther (Mitzel) Arnold.
Patricia worked for the former Greif Brothers sewing factory in Stewartstown and also for Mann and Parker Lumber Company in New Freedom. She then went on to work for T. Bushman Forest Products in Phoenix, Md., retiring in 2012 after many years of service. She was a member of Yocumtown Church of God in Etters and volunteered at the Stewartstown Elementary School in the Kindergarten classroom. Pat and her daughter, Crystal, loved shopping and enjoyed visiting Tea Rooms together. She was a great seamtress, enjoyed camping, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
Patricia is survived by a daughter, Crystal L. Lanius and her husband, Todd of Stewartstown; two grandsons, Joshua W. Lanius and his fiancee, Amanda Hostelley of Dover, and Jason D. Lanius and his fiancee, Lacey Allen of New Park; and a grandson, Braydyn L. W. Lanius. She is also survived by her siblings, Dave Arnold of Swoope, Va., James and Ray Arnold, both of Stewartstown, Wilford Arnold, Jr. of Airville, Fae Adams of New Freedom, Jesse Arnold of Felton, Judy Hash of New Park, and Jean Manning of Daniels W. Va., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Arnold.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to H.O.P.E., PO Box 175, Shrewsbury, PA 17361; or to Yocumtown Church of God, 160 Red Mill Rd., Etters, PA 17319.
