Mrs W T McLane, who had been in poor health for more than a year with bronchial and heart trouble and complications, and who had been seriously ill for the past six weeks, died Friday morning at her home in Clemons.

Eldora Clemens was born June 24, 1862 in Franklin county, and married Mr McLane December 8, 1883 in New Providence. They lived on a farm near Union for a time and for more than twenty years lived in or near Clemons.

Mrs McLane is survived by her husband and three children, Jess McLane of near State Center, Mrs Harvey Crosby north of Zaring and Mrs Florence Jackman of Marshalltown. Two other children born to Mr and Mrs McLane died many years ago. Four grandchildren, five brothers and a sister also survive.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Christian Church of Clemons. Rev Jess Kauffman had charge of the services. The pallbearers were Al Butler, Frank Davis, Al Christenson, Chris Enabuit, Theo Helmcke and Frank Smith. The flowers were cared for by Mrs Candace Everist, Mrs Bess Von Spreckelson, Mrs Earl Cook, Mrs Faye Miller and Misses Georgia and Gail Keoppel.
