Mrs. Blanke came to Lodi from South Dakota in 1939 and married David Blanke in 1941. He passed away in 1981.
She was employed as a cook for the Lodi Unified School District, and along with her husband, owned and operated a vineyard in Lodi for many years. She also did volunteer work at Delta Convalescent Hospital.
Mrs. Blanke was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day and an active member of the Woodbridge Grange. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, Bingo and board games.
Mrs. Blanke is preceded in death by her husband, David Blanke in 1981 and a brother, Albert Miller.
Mrs. Blanke is survived by two sister, Alvina Marrs of Lodi and Clara Kayner of Oregon; two stepsons, Robert and Joe Blanke, both of California; two stepdaughters, Clara Allen and Laura Rouse, both of California; and numerous grandchildren.
