Caroline Nielsen Green, 83, died of causes incident to age wednesday at 8 p.m. while visiting at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Merville Kilgore, Midvale.
a Daughter of John and Marie Nielson Nielson, she was born July 16, 1864 in Sweden, coming to Salt Lake City as a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of 12. She was married to Robert A. Green in Utah in 1880. Mr Green died in 1917.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters; John A. Green Salt Lake City; Joseph E. Green, San Carlos, Calif.; Williard M. and Ray R. Green, Los Angeles, Mrs. Kilgore, Midvale; and Mrs. W. A. Wanley, Los Angeles; two brothers and a sister, Helen Nielson, Cloveland O; Joseph Nielson, Battle Mountain Nev., and Mrs. Sonja Christiansen, Mayfield; 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at 36 E 7th South. Friends may call prior to funeral. Burial will be in Murray city Cemetery.
