1893 Wedding show John age 33 ~ b: 1859
1900 Census shows John age 40 with birth date called out and listed as 12/1859
1910 Census shows John has barely aged - 42
1919- Gravestone states B: 12 Dec 1863 and Obituary says he was 55
I feel there was a planned age change around 1910 and it was just carried through.
Birth Certificate for John Welch in Main 7/26/1859 and another one 11/17/1859.
Have yet to find any proof of a John Welch born in Maine around 1863.
Also looking at his picture I'd lean on the older side.
