ALMA - Mrs. Helen Rose Kammers, 50, of 1030 West Tuttle Road, Iona, died unexpectedly Friday morning after being admitted to Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma.
Born in Louisiana, September 23, 1924, she is survived by her husband Wayne; one son, Arthur Hoffpauir of Lake Charles, La.; and a daughter, Connie LaHaye of Rhoda, Spain. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Elie Aubey of Cameron, La., a brother and two sisters as well as two grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 PM at Kauffman - Daughty Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Pitts of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial is in Easton Cemetery.
