Franklin News-Herald, Thursday, Aug 2 1973:
Mrs. Lida A. Campbell, 92, of Utica, died at 7:55 am today in Venango Manor following an extended illness. Daughter of James R. and Sarah Gilmore Adams, she was born in Utica Dec. 29, 1880.

She spent her early life in Utica, attended and graduated from public schools there. She lived in Franklin from 1912, when her husband transferred here from Chicago, IL, Post Office to Franklin Post Office, until 1947, when they returned to Utica. She was active in Red Cross during World War I and World War II, spent many house rolling bandages. She greatly enjoyed her home, and was fond of gardening and her flowers. She was a member of Utica United Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of Utica Volunteer Fire Department, and Ladies Auxiliary of Franklin Post 476, American Legion, and was a Gold Star Mother.

On June 24, 1906 she married Cassius M. Campbell, who died Dec. 22, 1952.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence P. (Dorothy) Marshall of Utica; two grandsons, Michael P. Marshall of Hershey, and Glenn C. Marshall of Richardson, TX; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. L. S. (Mae) McCabe of Cochranton. Deceased are three brothers; a sister; and a son, Glenn A. Campbell, killed in action during World War II.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at Huff Chapel with Rev. Warren Hulburt, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Millcreek Cemetery, Utica.
