Son of James R. and Sarah Gilmore Adams, he never married, lived in Utica, was a farmer, died in Spencer Hospital, Meadville, of chronic myocardial failure, per death certificate 12957, whose informant was Mabel McCabe of Cochranton. Buried Feb 11 1959.

Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Feb 9 1959:
Charles H. Adams, 86, of Utica, died Sunday in Spencer Hospital, Meadville, shortly after being admitted. He was the son of James R. and Sarah Gilmore Adams. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. M. Campbell of Utica, Mrs. Lawrence McCabe of Cochranton; a brother, Edgar, of Utica; and a niece and a nephew.

Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday at McCabe Funeral Home in Cochranton with Rev. Thomas Francis, pastor if Utica Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Millcreek Cemetery.
