Eliza is the daughter of Captain Elias Sweet 31 Jan 1868 died 21 Apr 1812 Harford, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, USA her mother is Abigail
Foster born 13 Feb 1777 Attleboro, Bristol, Massachusetts, USA died Gibson, Pennsylvania, USA.

From: Pioneer Women of the Western Reserve, Copley, Summit County, Ohio P 911:
There is an entire absence of women's names on the township's early records except as families were "warned out of town," (poor families that might become a financial burden to the town). This lawful encouragement of "Man's inhumanity to man" was practiced for more than twenty years. Many of the "warned" had lived in the township a longtime and were worthy citizens.
Among that number was Mrs. Eliza Sweet Capron, who, left a widow with several small children, struggled against adverse conditions with true womanly courage. to know her was to love her. she added considerably each year to her very slender income by making straw and palm leaf hats. "Aunt Eliza," as she was familiarly called, never forgot to reward any poor boy who had done an errand for her, with a nice new hat, which usually was laid up for such occasions. She died in 1861,mourned by the many whom her kindness had touched.
