Early Life: Verla was born March 13, 1929, to Eugene and Verda Johnson Kidd. She attended Bluffdale High School where she excelled in Home Economics.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On January 16, 1947, Verla married Lionel Jay Turner; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved arrowhead hunting, camping, fishing, garage sales and all types of sewing. She was a seamstress most of her life. Verla was an excellent caregiver for her husband, mother and mother-in-law. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed doing genealogy work. Verla Kidd Turner passed away March 2, 2014, surrounded by her family.
Survived By: Her sons: Gary (Colleen) Turner, Lehi, UT; Steven (Gail) Turner, Orangeville, UT; and Cole (Deanne) Turner, Cedar Fort, UT; daughters: Sandra (Dino deceased) Robinson, American Fork, UT; Pamela (Gilbert) Pulley, Provo, UT; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, parents, three brothers and one sister.
