They came to Minnesota from New York prior to 1860 to join other members of her family who had preceeded them to Wright County, including her father, her brother Herbert McCrory, and sister Elizabeth McCrory (who married Frederick M. Cadwell in what may have been the first marriage ceremony in what would become Wright County).
