Mrs. Leo Carey
Mrs. Mary Carey of Geneseo, mother of Mrs. Harold Whitney of Groveland, died in her home Sunday (May 16, 1965) following a short illness. She was 68.
Mrs. Carey was former department president of the New York State American Legion Auxiliary.
Also surviving are her husband; two other daughters, Mrs. Howard Smith of Geneseo and Mrs. James Allesio of Seneca Falls; four sisters, Mrs. Nama Brown and Mrs. Ethel Arnold of Perry, Miss Doris Slade of Rochester and Mrs. Florence Casper of Oakfield; a brother, Charles Slade of Elba; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the W.S. Rector and Sons Funeral Home in Geneseo. Requiem Mass will be said in St. Mary's Church there at 9 a.m., tomorrow. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
