Seemingly in perfect health on Saturday morning, Joseph Nazarro, who operated a cigar stand in San Francisco, a resident of San Rafael for 9 years, was dead at 5:30 that afternoon. Nazarro had locked up his stand and eaten his dinner at a restaurant and then gone to his room in San Francisco. Evidently feeling ill, he called for assistance, but before help arrived he died. Heart trouble is thought to have been the cause of his death.
Nazarro leaves a widow, Mrs. Rafael Nazarro; one daughter, Mrs. George Nazarro, and 2 sons, Charles and Michael Nazarro. He was born in Italy 50 years ago.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning from St. Raphael's Church at 9:30.
