The funeral of Mrs. Amelia A. Collins, mother of Theodore and John Collins formerly of this city, took place yesterday. The body of Mrs. Collins was shipped on the noon train yesterday and interment followed at Hope cemetery, where short funeral ceremonies were conducted at the grave by Rev. J. D. Smith. Theodore Collins, who lives at Kansas City and a number of other relatives came down today. Mrs. Collins was taken with an attack of paralysis last December and was with her daughter at Kansas City at the time of her death. The following acted as pallbearers: S. F. Beeler, W. T. Pickrell, J. L. Woodsum, P. Kaiser, E. C. Sparks and J. S. Forgey.
