MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Agnes Bell Chamblin, 85, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Heartland of Martinsburg.

Born May 22, 1913, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie Reed Watson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Bell; and by her second husband, Herman W. Chamblin.

She was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God Church.

She retired from Jefferson Manufacturing Co.

She is survived by a son, Franklin E. Bell of Martinsburg; two stepdaughters, Emma Jane Slusher of Ranson, W.Va., and Joyce Wilcox of Charles Town, W.Va.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers.

Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Louise Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
