While Dorothy's date of death is not known, she is on a list of Deerfield church members who are present in body in 1735. Whatever primary source Sheldon used in his History of Deerfield to determine she was living in Newton in 1733 is lost to time, and never cited in his work or papers. From the church list we now know she came back and was residing in Deerfield in 1735. It had been previously assumed she died in Newton. What became of her after that date is not known, but likely (given her age and that all of her surviving children were living in the area) she stayed.
