Guyton- Vera Mae "Judy" Veal, 91, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center ICU.
She was a charter member of Rincon Baptist Temple, where she had kept the church nursery for many years. She was born a twin in a family of 17 children.
Mrs. Judy was a 1942 honor graduate of Brooklet High School, where she played basketball. She had worked in the fields, in sewing factories, in chicken houses, and a hardware store. She loved to fish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. "Slim" Veal.
