He was born March 22, 1919, in Clinton County, the son of Glen Luther and Nellie Jewell Alexander Lashbrook. On December 20, 1941, he married Elsie Margaret Briggs; she preceded him in death on July 19, 2012.
Paul served in the United States Army during World War II. He attended Olivet Nazarene University and was a missionary on a Native American Reservation in Arizona. Paul was a pastor for Light House of Hope and several local Wesleyan churches.
Surviving Paul are special nephew, John (Janet) Trent, his care taker for several years; sisters, Anna Mae Trent and Wilma Joy (Donald) Hill; brothers, Charles Everett (Joan) Lashbrook, Harold Glen (Marjory) Lashbrook, and Raymond Levon (Mary) Lashbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Paul is preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, Frances Lucille Lashbrook and Ellen Clorene Lashbrook; sisters, Helen Irene Watts and Glenna Maxine Campbell; and brothers, Robert Eugene Lashbrook and Richard Leo Lashbrook.
Visitation for Paul will be held from 4:00 β 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Kurth officiating.
Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
