On Saturnday, February 15, 2014. Beloved mother of Samuel Washington (Etta). Also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Phyllis Lee and Helen Thompson. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 25, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at the New Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, 4417 Douglas St. NE, Washington, DC. Interment Glenwood Cemetery. Services by Hodges & Edwards.
