Survive. Mrs. Abigail Ackley died at 5 a.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irvin A. Brown, at No. 427
West State Street, at the advanced age of 90 years, 7 months and 11 days. The deceased was the daughter of J.
Byrum [sic] of Enfield, and had lived in this city for about 10 years. Two sons and three daughters survive, as follows: I.P. Ackley and Mrs. Irvin Brown of this city; Mrs. Harriet Larrison of Blodgett's Mills, and Miss Huldah T. Ackley of Baltimore, Md. Her aged sister Mrs. H. B. Taylor, of Port Byron, N.Y., also is living. The funeral will be held from No. 427 West State Street [Ithaca, N.Y]at 2 p.m. tomorrow, with burial at Applegate Corners." Abigail is also the fifth great-granddaughter of John Alden and the former Priscilla MULLINS of Mayflower fame; the result of John's following Miles Standish's advice to speak for himself.
