The deceased was the mother of Messrs. Laurent, Gilbert L. and Lucius G. Dupre, prominent members of the Opelousas bar. She was loved by all who knew her, and her death is mourned by the entire community, as was evidenced by the large number of people that followed the remains to its last resting place in the Catholic cemetery.
