Mrs. May Oller (Wertz) Loizeaux, a former resident of Waynesboro, died Saturday night at the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, where she had resided since December 1960.

Mrs. Loizeaux visited in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Calvert N. Ellis, Huntingdon, to celebrate her 95th birthday. Dr. Ellis is president of Juniata College, Huntingdon.

She was born in Waynesboro, April 14, 1867, a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Elizabeth (Bonebrake) Oller. She attended public school and continued her education at Juniata, graduating in 1895. She was one of the oldest women graduates in the first decade of the college.

On October 1, 1901 she was married to the late David Maurice Wertz, former prominent orchardist. He died in March 1940. In 1945 Mrs. Wertz married Paul Daniel Loizeaux, Plainfield, N.J. He died in February 1952.

Mrs. Loizeaux is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wertz Ellis, wife of Dr. Calvert N. Ellis of Huntingdon, Pa and Mrs. Anna Wertz MacNeish, Rosemont, Philadelphia. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of the Plymouth Brethren Church, South Broad Street and Homewood Avenue.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Grove Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. George M. Landis. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Brown Funeral Home, Huntingdon tonight from 7 until 9 and at the Grove Funeral Home, here from 1 p.m. untril the hour of service Tuesday.
