Charles H. Stebbins, for many years a resident of Fairport, who had been in failing health for a number of months, passed away in Rochester yesterday at the age of 84 years and 9 months.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence of his grandson, Frank Armstrong, 432 Pullman street, where he died, the Rev. Mr. Compton officiating, and interment will be made in Pittsford.
Mr. Stebbins is survived by four sons, George, of Williamson' John H., of Albany; Edward and Royal, of Fairport; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Armstrong, of Cleveland, O.; and Mrs. H. M. Shular, of Dansville, Ill.; also ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
