Mrs. Sarah Ellen Angel 91, of East Somerset, died Tuesday, May 14, at her home after a lengthy illness.
The daughter of the late James and Rachel Ping Eaton, she was born January 6, 1872. She was married to Alvin Angel. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Angel was a member of the Huffaker Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include the following children, Everett Angel and Mrs. Minnie Cornette, Somerset, Mrs. Nancy McAllister, Columbus, Indiana and James Angel, Cincinnati, one sister Mrs. Eliza Whitis, Somerset, 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Huffaker Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Robert Hall and the Rev. Thomas Williams officiating. Burial was in the Eden Cemetery.
