Mr. Lockard was a World War II Army veteran, a former member of the Breckinridge County Cattlemen's Association and an avid cattle farmer and at-tended Big Spring United Methodist Church.
He was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Big Spring to the late William ""Bill"" and Alice Minter Lockard.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Witt and Lester Lockard; and four sisters, Parthena Sharp, Betty Lee Newton, Nina Newton and Adena Haus.
Mr. Lockard is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Lockard; a son, Titus (Nancy) Lockard; and a special niece, Brenda (Ernie) Carman.
Burial in the church cemetery.
