S.C. Peebles of Cherrytree
Mr. S.C. Peebles of Cherrytree township died at his home, five miles south of Titusville, Saturday, August 13th, after an illness of more than two years.
Mr. Peebles was born March 1, 1828. Forty four years ago he was united in marriage to Margaret Alcorn, who still survives him. He is survived by six children, three sons and three daughters, James B. Peebles, Andrew T. Peebles, Robert L. Peebles, all of Cherrytree township, and Mrs. H.B. Miles of Cherrytree township, Mrs. T.C. Fleming of Franklin and Mrs. H.D. Carter of Franklin. The funeral will take place at the Fairview church, Monday at 2 p.m.
