OBITUARY :
MRS. ADELAIDE FILBERT GEISER, widow of Norris D. Geiser, died at her home, 52 East Main street, at 4:30 o'clock Christmas morning. Recently in the Wilmer Institute, John Hopkins Hospital, she underwent an operation for a cataract and death was due to pneumonia contracted after the operation.
She was born in Waynesboro, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Emma (Saylor) Filbert, April 9, 1862, and lived her entire life in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Geiser was a member of the Lutheran church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Hazel Geiser and Miss Emma Geiser, 52 East Main street.
Private funeral services except for relatives and friends of Mrs. Geiser and family will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home in charge of Dr. B. Clinton Ritz. Interment will be made in Green Hill cemetery.
