Reginald "Reggie" A. Daigneault Jr., 56, of Springfield and formerly of Ludlow, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 10, 2010 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on May 30, 1954, a son of the late Reginald A. Daigneault Sr. Reggie attended Ludlow schools and graduated from Ludlow High School in 1972. He was employed for the City of Springfield for the past 26 years, and had worked prior at Ludlow Rubber. Reggie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling, traveling and trips to the casino. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, two cherished children, of Ludlow and of Springfield; his best buddy and adored grandson, his mother and her husband of Springfield; four siblings of Chicopee, Springfield and Ludlow; his faithful companion, "Kipper"; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Reggie was pre-deceased by a sister, Diane Garrison in 2005. Reggie's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Tuesday, December 14th from 4-8 p.m. at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard. A funeral home service will be held at 6 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Reggie's memory to the American Heart Association , 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
