T. Earl Walker Dies in Hospital Motor Car Sales Manager Ill Only Four Days; Was 35 Years Old
Services will be held tomorrow at the Simpson funeral chapel for T. Earl Walker, 35, who died yesterday morning in a Charleston hospital following a short illness where he had been a patient four days. His death was attributed to a heart ailment.
Time of the funeral was not set last night. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial park.
Mr. Walker was sales manager for the Capitol Motor Sales company the past year and prior to that time was general manager of the Elk Motor Sales company. He also had been employed by the Butler Chevrolet company.
He was born in Paris, Tenn., and educated in public schools of that city and Union university at Jackson, Tenn. He came to Charleston 18 years ago.
He married Miss Lura Wolfe of Charleston, who survives him, in 1925.
Also surviving are two daughters, Doris and Susie Walker; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Walker of Paris, Tenn.; two brothers, Cecil Walker of South Charleston and Lewis Walker of Charleston; four sisters, Miss Adele Walker of Charleston; Mrs. Ralph Wasson and Mrs. T. A. Humphreys of Paris, Tenn., and Mrs. Fred Bevil of Cairo, Ill.
