SPANISH FORK, July 9. - Mrs. Martha Lizetta Lewis, 48, wife of Harris Lewis, of Scofield, died at an early hour this morning at the Hughes Memorial Hospital following an operation for tumor and complications.

Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of John and Eliza Beagley, pioneers of this district. She was born at Nephi, October 14, 1879.

She is survived by her husband, her aged mother, Mrs. Eliza Beagley; one son, three daughters, and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral arrangements are not complete, awaiting word from relatives in California, but the funeral probably will be Tuesday afternoon.
