Justina "Gusty" (also known as Gustina) Gruber and Simon B. Nachreiner were married on February 17, 1892, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Plain, Sauk County, Wisconsin. They had 10 children: Frank, Mathilda, John, Rose, Clara, Irma, Arthur, Frederick, Wallace, and Alma. In 1940, Simon and Justina Gruber Nachreiner donated a church window at St. Luke Catholic Church in Plain, Sauk County, Wisconsin, inscribed with "Mr. and Mrs. Simon Nachreiner."

Obituary "Mrs. S. Nachreiner's Death at Age 94 Follows Long Illness - PLAIN - At the age of 94, Mrs. Simon Nachreiner died Monday, Nov. 11, 1968, in a Baraboo nursing home. She had been ill a long time. The former Gustina Gruber was born July 18, 1874. . . The funeral was held Wednesday morning in St. Luke's Catholic Church." (unknown newspaper)
