Rex Walden, 61, of 6480 County House Rd. Tompkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, February 8th, at Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Rex was born in Tompkinsville, Ky on August 24, 1952, a son of Dorotha Irene (Short) Walden, of Tompkinsville and the late Bertie Ellsworth Walden.

On September 17, 1976 at he married Denise (Fox), who passed away on 11/26/2007.

Rex was a member of Sand Lick Baptist Church. He attended Western Kentucky University. He worked as a Supervisor at Kentucky Appearal and other garment factories for over 30 years.

Rex is also survived by a daughter, Cynthia Jo Seratt, of Lexington, KY;
two sons David Rex Walden, of Tompkinsville, KY; Brandon Wayne Walden, of Tompkinville, KY; 3 grandchildren, MaKensey Walden, Makayla Walden and Amber Creek.


Rex is also survived by a sister, Connie Young, of Tompkinsville, KY. four brothers, Jerry Walden, of Tompkinsville, KY; Noel Walden, of Gallatin, TN; Jimmy Walden, of Tompkinsville, KY; Jackie Walden, of Tompkinsville, KY.

Rex is also preceded in death by two brothers; Ronnie and Billy Joe Walden, and a sister, Susie Carol Walden.

Funeral Services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 12th, with Bro. Tom Stokes officiating.

Visitation is Tuesday after 3:00 P.M. and Wednesday 6:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

Burial is in Isenberg Cemetery.
