Lockport Union Sun Journal, Saturday, September 23, 1962: DAVIS - Benjamin H. of Carmen Rd., Town of Hartland, passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 22, 1961, at Medina Memorial Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Zerow, of Middleport; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildre; one brother, Ray Davis of Millers; and several nieces and nephes. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., Middleport, where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2, with the Rev. Norman Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

He was born in the Town of Hartland on Aug. 6, 1888, the son of Charles E. and Carrie Swift Davis. his wife, the former Maude Vaughn, died last January.
Mr. Davis is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Zanow of Middleport; four grandchildre; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Davis of Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
