David Anderson, served in the War of 1812, as Private, in Alexander's Battalion, Riflemen Georgia Militia. His Brother-in-Law, Micajah White, returned to his family,and David did not, and was survived by wife, Mourning, and six little children.
David and Mourning's eldest child, Nancy,was the first child to be dropped from the Guardianship papers, of Putnam County, as she had married Lewis D. Veal, who had been in the same Alexander's Battalion, with David Anderson and Micajah White.
