Doris Borg Hatch, 78, was born July 4, 1925 in Sandy, Utah to Wanfred and Ella Borg. She passed away peacefully in St. George, Utah on June 17, 2004.

She married Kenneth James (Jim) Hatch, her loving companion, on September 3, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Doris was raised in Sandy, Utah. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1943. She worked at Copperview Elementary School for 22 years. After retiring, Doris and Jim moved to St. George where they spent many wonderful years golfing, hiking, and traveling with friends. Jim and Doris served an LDS mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Doris was a devoted wife and a loving mother, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jim, her four children, Ron and Kristin Hatch of Park City, UT; Linda and Scott Gunnell of Lava Hot Springs, ID; Kent and Susan Hatch of Sandy, UT; Jerry and Gayle Jacobs of Murray, UT; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2004 at 12:00 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment to follow in Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
