Bus was a resident of Madrid until 1940 and then moved to Des Moines, where he was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He retired in 1994 from WHO Radio as a Broadcast Engineer.
Bus was a HAM Operator – WØWSJ. He enjoyed electronics, tinkering, and riding his bike.
Bus is survived by his children, Chris Lamberti of Des Moines, Tom Lamberti of Des Moines; Mary (Gary) DouBrava of Urbandale, and Judy (Joe) Pirillo of Altoona; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Ada Evangelista. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lamberti.
