Death of I.O. Coverdale
The funeral of Mr. Isaac O. Coverdale, who died on Sunday, aged 73 years, was held Monday afternoon from St. Andrew's Church.
Mr. Coverdale was born in Indiana, U.S.A., and came here 25 years ago, settling on a farm three miles south of the Edmonton Trail. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
His wife pre-deceased him six years ago. Survivors are Mrs. A. Aldwinckle, Mrs. D. Thompson, George Coverdale, Mrs. W. Rankin, all of Lacombe, Mrs. T. Roberts, Barrhead, Mrs. J. Miller, Blackfalds and Mrs. Sam Coverdale, Long Beach, Calif. There is also one brother, George, in Kansas and nineteen grandchildren.
Rev. R.B. Layton, assisted by the Rev. Riggs, of Blackfalds, conducted the service.
