Rebecca Holt was daughter of Seaborn & Sophia Davis Holt, born 1807 & 1813, respectively. In 1880, Seaborn & Sophia were living with son Charles Cicero Holt, in the Tickanetley District of Gilmer Co, GA. Their dates of death and burial sites are unknown.

Seaborn Holt was the oldest child of Larkin Holt (1786-1855) and Mahala Blair Holt (1790-1872) who are buried in the Old Cemetery of Cherry Log Baptist Church in Gilmer Co, GA.

Larkin & Mahala Blair Holt were in Gilmer Co, GA for the special census of 1834, taken two years after the establishment of Gilmer Co, GA. That 1834 census listed only 60 families, with a total of 359 white inhabitants.
