Alyne Ford Zessin was my maternal grandmother. She was married to Alvin E. Zessin at the time of her death. He is also sometimes listed as Ervin A. Zessin.

Mother of Mary Louise Sara and Annie Ruth.
All above daughters are deceased. The grave site for Sara Frances Ford Anderson is Crestview Memorial in Adamsville Jefferson Alabama and the site for Annie Ruth Ford Campbell is in Park HIll Cemetery Columbus Muscogee Georgia. The other two sisters, Mary and Louise, I do not know where their grave sites are but will add those if an when I obtain that information.

WE called her Mama Zessin and she was a great person to have for a grandmother. She is truly missed.
This lovely lady was grandmother to four granddaughters, three grandsons.

Our grandmother( who we called Mama Zessin )was born a Ford and married(for the first time a Warner C.Ford) They had four daughters: Mary Ford Powell, Louise Ford Elder, Sara Frances Ford Anderson and Annie Ruth Ford Campbell (all deceased now). They had a son, who did not live long (probably passed at birth) therefore, he was never named. His grave site is beside his father in Phenix City Alabama in the cemetery behind Railroad Street.

Mama Zessin married for the second time to E.Alvin Zessin. He was born in Germany and as a young boy came to America where he became a naturalized citizen. They lived their lives in different areas of Fla and when the passed they were living in Manatee,Florida where there grave sites can be found in Manasota Gardens

Both were wonderful grandparents and loved very much.
