Marguerite is the daughter of Martin Laverdure and Jacqueline Leliot. She was born in about 1646. She was baptized in St-Nicolas-des-Champs in 1646. She came to Quebec as a Filles du Roi, on 2 October 1665, on the ship Le St Jean-Baptiste de Dieppe.

Marguerite married Maurice Crepeau on 12 October 1665. They are the parents of the following (verified PRDH):
