MRS. NYQUIST DIES AT AGE OF 49 YEARS

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Lofgren Nyquist, wife of Frank Nyquist, 310 Ninth st., who died Wednesday morning at 11:50 o'clock at her home, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, the Rev. Carl Solomonson officiating. Burial will be in the Scandinavian cemetery.

Mrs. Nyquist was born in Rockford, May 16, 1876, and had passed her entire life in this city. Beside her husband, she leaves two daughters,
Ethel and Irene Nyquist;
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lofgren;
two sisters,
Mrs. A. Abramson
and Miss Edith Lofgren,
and two brothers,
Dr. E. Lofgren
and Joseph E. Lofgren, all of Rockford.

MRS. KATHERINE SMITH IS DEAD IN MICHIGAN

Mrs. Katherine McInnis Smith, widow of Charles W. Smith and for ten years a resident of this city, died suddenly Wednesday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Sadie Geiger, Saginaw, Mich., where she had gone from this city only a few weeks ago. Her husband, Charles Smith, was for a number of years prominent in the shoe trade here. He died last Nov. 27 in this city. She leaves two sisters

and Miss Flora McInnis, Detroit, Mich.,
and a brother, John McInnis, St. Charles, Mich.

The home in Rockford was at 1817 Oxford st. Funeral services and burial will take place Friday at St. Charles, Mich.
