John graduated from Idabel Gray High School in 1957. He was a retired aeronautical engineer having worked many years in the aircraft industry for McDonald Douglas, Boeing, Bell Helicopter, Lear Jet, and General Dynamics. He was also a very talented artist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Marion Hill and Marshall Hill.
John is survived by his wife, Annette, of Tulsa; son, Jay Kregg Hill of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Cody McCombs of Tulsa; grandchildren, Dustin Poole and his wife, Jontu, of Allen, Texas, Jonathan McCombs, Kaily McCombs, and Joey McCombs, all of Tulsa; sisters, Augustine Warren and Lavetta Angelley, both of Idabel, and Ollie Legate, of Ada; brothers-in-law, Larry Farley and his wife, Diana, of Tulsa and Billy Joe Heeter and his wife, Patti of Garland, Texas; Kregg’s mother, Charlene Hill of Garland, Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
