Willie Augustine Warren, age 91 of Idabel, OK passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Idabel, OK. She was born on May 19, 1922 in the Cisco Community, the daughter of John L. Hill and Myrtle Tucker Hill.

Augustine worked at the reception desk of the Rambler Motel while it was owned by the Weatherford Family and also the Rouleau Hotel until it sold. After marrying R.E. Warren in 1980 they reopened Warren's 5 & 10 on South Central and it soon became the place to go for knitting, crochet and embroidery supplies as well as ideas as Augustine was an expert in these arts. The local kids liked visiting the small store where they could look at and handle the toys in a sweet atmosphere overseen by a sweet lady who loved them all. The little store became a hang-out for "the seniors" who also had good memories of the old Idabel stores that they could relive and find the items they needed in a convenient small store where Augustine would take time to visit with them for as long as they wanted.

She was a faithful member of the Bypass Church of Christ and had a deep love for the Lord. Augustine enjoyed working in the garden, growing flowers and she loved animals especially birds. She became a close friend to her children that she acquired when she married Emmett Warren and she was a really good grandmother to all her kids, she never thought of them as "step-children" but instead as her grandkids.

Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Mill Semons and R.E. Warren; and brothers, Marshall Hill, John Hill and Marion Hill.

Augustine is survived by her step-sons, Boyd Warren and wife, Davene of Idabel, OK and Wayne Warren and wife, Sue of Broken Bow, OK; step-daughters, Sue Warren Green and Charlotte Palmer both of Edmond, OK; sisters, Lavetta Angelley of Idabel, OK and Ollie Legate of Ada, OK; a niece, Angela Hill McCombs; nephews, Dale Legate, Kregg Hill and Charles Hill; 13 step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Bypass Church of Christ with Wayne Warren and Boyd Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
