Author of 'Steel Toes' and 'Another Day in Paradise' which was made into a 1998 movie of the same title, starring Melanie Griffith and James Woods. Little started writing his first novel while in prison and later wrote a column for 'LA Weekly' entitled 'Outlaw Law.' Little died of a heart attack.Little, Eddie
Eddie Little passed away May 20, 2003, at the age of 48. A writer, a raconteur, an adventurer, a man with a vast heart and vibrant energy, a survivor and, finally, a casualty of addiction. Eddie leaves behind many who loved him and whom he loved. Most especially, he leaves Rita Fabra, and their daughter Rita Little, 16 years old; his brother, Tom; his sister, Diana; his mother and stepfather, Gay and Don Lumsden; his father and stepmother, Edwin and Kay Little; and his girlfriend, Brandi Kenyon. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be June 2, at 2:30 p.m., at Hollywood Forever Chapel, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood.
