Mr. Frank Martin Adams, 60, of Carrollton, Ga., died Thursday, March 23, 2000 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Mr. Adams was born January 18, 1940 in Carroll County, Ga. to the late Charles A. Adams and Mammie Phillips Adams. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after attaining the rank of Senior Chief. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Charles R. Adams, Ray Adams and Kenneth Adams.
A funeral will be Saturday, March 25 at 11 a.m. at Martin and Hightower West Center Street Chapel in Carrollton with the Rev. Clifford DeLee and the Rev. Donal Spradlin officiating. Music will be rendered by Donald Spradlin and Shelia Milam. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Eastern time at Community Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, Alabama, with full military honors.
Friends may pay their respects after noon Friday, March 24 and the family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Surviving are sons, Chad Martin and Mindy Spradlin Adams of Woodland, Ala. and Timothy Allen and Amy Marie Adams of Carrollton; sister, Marion Henderson of Newnan; brothers, Garon Adams of Walkerton, Indiana, Jerry Adams of Cookville, Tennessee, Paul Adams of Carrollton and James Adams of Bowdon; grandson, Noah Allen Adams of Carrollton; a number of nieces and nephews.
