Patricia K. Good

East Liverpool - Patricia K. Good, 74, of Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, passed away at 9:05 Monday morning, Aug. 12, 2013, at the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a long illness. She is now reunited with her loving husband, William "Bill" Good, who was certainly waiting for her in Heaven. "Patty," as she was known to her family and her many friends, was born in East Liverpool on Nov. 1, 1938, a daughter of the late Richard and Helen Bobovich Allison. She had been raised in Newell, where she attended the former Wells High School, and had remained in this area the rest of her life. A member of Beechwood Free Methodist Church, Patty had worked in office management in the health care field, primarily for Dr. Orlando Castro, Potters Medical Center and Fox Nursing Home. She was passionate about helping others, and was one of the organizers of the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon fundraiser in the East Liverpool area. Patty was involved in many community charitable activities, including the Community Christian Choir. Preceding her in death on May 31, 2009, was her husband, "Bill," whom she married on Dec. 10, 1993. Surviving her are her three daughters and one son: Cyndi McGraw and her companion, Paul Dudley, of East Palestine; Candi Richey and her husband, Alan, of Salem; Courtney Tice and her husband, Roy, of East Liverpool; and William Good and his wife, Judy, of Raleigh, NC. Patty will also be missed by her three grandchildren: Shaun Richey, Danielle Roderick and her husband, Robby, and Shalynn McGraw and her fiance, Chad Cupp; as well as a great-granddaughter, Zoe Roderick. Also surviving is a brother, Richard Allison and his wife, Judy, of Newell, as well as Richard Skelton, with whom she had remained close. Oliver, her canine companion, also survives. Patty was preceded by a son, Richard Keith Skelton, and by a sister, Candy Allison. Pastor Norm Eckert of the church will officiate at a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m., and again two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
